well my xbox wont show me my IP address, and says No Link!
help? tongue.gif it hadnt been working b4 cuz i had been using a ethernet cord tongue.gif stupid now i went to radio shack an bought a Crossover cable and it still dont work
im workin on putin up a pic x.x help plz? tongue.gif

try just restarting the xbox with the cable connected to the pc (has to be on). That should work...

crossover is easyy as pie.
well for pcs at least.
k so assuming u know ur xboxs ip...lest say its 192.168.1.102 (ex.)
u would go in ur internet settings,change ur crap from dhcp(which is was most ppl have) to a static ip...set ur ip to 192.168.1.101 (anything close to the xbox's ip should work-close meaning diff by 1 or so)....and put dns to 255.255.255.0 and leave the rest blank.
k now that parts done. Next , open my computer click TOOLS - MAP NETWORK DRIVE...
then a box pops up,type in the ip like such \192.168.1.102 i dont know if this works,but if it would im guessing it would prompt for pass which is of course xbox/xbox.
Another way,instead of using my computer,just use flash fxp and connect to the xbox , make sure passive mode is on.hope this helps.peace!

lol...if it has no ip i dunno thats weird,maybe the network card is dead...which would mean ud need a new mobo...but that cant be....the default xbox ip is 192.168.1.101 i beleive,try it...

and my card aint dead cuz im using my dsl modem off my pcs 1 an i just went online with my xboxs
