Hey all,
I've been around here for a while, and I've had my 2.0 Pro (with that crappy silverish ribbon for the external programming port/switch) for a while, too.

Over the last couple of weeks, and it has only happened a couple of times, I've had something odd happen to my XBox.

I have gone to turn it on, and it was like I hit the switch too lightly and it didn't turn on completely.

At this point, I get a quick green light on the on/off switch. Then, it turns off, then it turns on for good, but with no video.

I unplugged the video cable, plugged it back in and it worked.

I also verified that the crappy silverish ribbon was on good, and it appears that it was.

All the while, there was no movement on the box, so it's not like I may have jarred anything loose.

Anyone else experience this? Like I said above, the box is working, but if my chip is going bad or if the ribbon is starting to flake, I'd like to be proactive to get it fixed.

Thanks in advance...

LT
