Ok I did use the search but it yeiled no results, so dont flame I just need a answer for a buddy, still waiting for my chip from HH and got another one in route.

When you get this error "error reading LPC" and you try to flash a matrix chip. What is the problem?

I'm no Matrix fan, but it sounds like it's misaligned or the contacts are poor.

Also, as an aside, good luck waiting for anything from HH. They charged my CC and never shipped my pre-mod. Mastercard brought their fisticuffs, and I got my money back. This isn't meant to start a digression in this thread; just thought I'd comment on that.
