Xbox 360 Linux Installation To Hdd Problems Options

Hey there, I have a JTAG'd Xenon with a MS25 drive. I have successfully botted the 'Free60 Debian Lenny Live CD'

I think I successfully issued the debianinstall command

This is installing to a Stock Microsoft 120GB HDD.








I then run the Xell-Bootloader-sda2 CD.


But it keeps stopping at

'Kernel panic-not syncing: No init found. Try passing init=option to kernel'


Is this something to do with the HDD?


What's the issue?

Also, every Live CD I seem to put in halts at:

SATA link up 1.5 Gbps (SStatus 113 SControl 300)

I always have to format my drive prior to running the install script to get it to install correctly.

I have installed Ubuntu 4-5 times. But i have never tried just straight debian.

I just format the drive and delete all partitions , this will break your HDDss. When you run the install script it creates the needed partitions. I have had the kernel panic error before and it was because the root filesystem is not getting mounted.
