Me and my brother have retail version of wolfenstein, disk and all. This is a completely retail game, box and instructions, no scratches and it's clean as new. I like to play all my games off the hard drive and wolfenstein doesn't like it. I have a samsung drive. and I don't want to age it faster cause it's awesome.Well, he DVD2XBOX'ed the disk to his hard drive and it works just fine. I've tried doing the same thing and even transferring the one he copied, and it freezes on the first screen in both cases. (The very first screen, with all the words.)

I have tried the following:

-Inspecting the copy and file sizes. All files are there.
-Turning off all 3 instances of IGR in Evox.
-Moving every single gamesave out of TDATA and UDATA to a different drive.
-Taking off 480p, 720p and 1080i. (All off, same time.)
-Running the game in PAL and NTSC.
-Renaming all of the xbe files except for the default xbe.
-Patching the xbe with the latest UnleashX
-Running the game from other dashes
-Taking the disk out of the box, cleaning it, looking it over, and tossing it in to DVD2XBOX.
-Clearing E:/cache/ and z:/ y:/ and x:/ drives before attempting each of the above things.
-All combinations at the same time.

If anyone knows how to fix this, that'd be great. If it comes down to it I'll just use the disk, but I'd really rather play off the hard drive.
