when i turn on my xbox with no mods, it starts and goes to the screen that allows me to access music, game saves, settings, and system info. how do i get it to go to the dashboard so i can play a game?

huh.gif You mean launch a game from your hard drive? In the manner you describe, you don't. That's the stock MS dash.

With no mods whatsoever your options are play from a game DVD or enjoy the deep green colors of the stock dash.

You need a modded Xbox to do anything else. Enable your softmod or turn your chip on.

If your mod is functioning and you still lack an installed dash, boot from a utilities disk like Hexen or something oldschool like Slayers.
