You should remove R15 and check it, that's a 15k Resistor and if it's still reading 40+k then something there is wrong, it could have changed value or opened up.

The value of R90 is X because that Resistor never was installed.

Hmm... R15 just got owned and lost, now I have to figure out how to replace it, do I need one of the tiny resistors, or any 15k resistor could work? I must sound retarded, right? In theory if something on the board got melted on the other side when this person tried to 2 wire mod this CG controller, could it have messed up a resistor or anything on the other side? Do you have any that list every resistor's value on the board?

That was a pretty sweet picture of a controller with lots of buttons on the handle. I saw somewhere else you posted about tiny flip switches under the battery to switch stuff, where do you find those? Im thinking about doing something like that but with a 8 switch DIP switch but I'm also not sure where to find that.

Also, I've been thinking selling mods could be somewhat profitable for me, however Ive only done the 555 mod, for cod4, maybe by adding some buttons with toggles and red LEDs, and a potentiometer, then people would want it, what do you think?

As long as it's 15k any size Resistor will work. Yes ya kinda do.The 2 wire mod doesn't work on the CG, so whoever did that didn't have a clue what they were doing in the first place and it's hard to tell what they could have actually done. No list yet, I haven't finished compiling all of that data yet, though I do have about ever version of board stripped down and have been working on it here and there.

Thanks, but if ya read the post, not just looked at the pics, you'd know where they came from and have the part numbers as well. The same place also has DIP switches and all manner of other parts, same as several other online places that sell components and such.

Yeah, um,
Don't think there is that much demand for rf using a 555, and blinking leds!
Use a pic and the skies the limit! happy.gif
