My Struggle To Get Gow Has Finally Ended Options

So I reserved a copy with Best Buy a couple of weeks ago (2 actually, just got one to sell the shirt on Ebay for a profit). So I kept calling them all day yesterday "Do you have it yet?" "No!" Sonofabitch. So I went down on my lunch break "Do you have it yet?" "No!" Sonofabitch. So I call again shortly after lunch "Do you have it yet?" "Yes!" I'm thinking yes, finally. So I have to wait until 5:00 P.M. to get off work and head back. So I ask "Where's GOW?" "Uhhh, we just like sold the last one." Sonofabitch. I explain that I have 2 copies reserved, WTF? He says, "Uhh, these were just like the Limited Edition ones, we sold all of those. We should get the regular ones within the hour." Sonofabitch. I'm pretty steamed at this point because I didn't want the regular one, I wanted the LE. So I left and kept harrassing them all night anyways. "Do you have it yet?" "No! I don't think we're going to get them until tomorrow some time." Sonofabitch. I didn't want your stupid regular edition anyways. So the local Circuit City had a delay yesterday too, and were supposed to have thiers available first thing in the morning. I figured screw Best Buy, they can keep thier $5 deposit, I just wanted the shirts anyway. So I leave work just before 10:00 A.M. to get to Circuit City when they open. So I ask "Do you have it yet?" "No!" Sonofabitch. Some more crap about a shipment delay. I keep calling, same response, Sonofabitch. Then finally at about 3:00 P.M. I ask "Do you have it yet?" "Yes!" I'm thinking, oh hell yes finally, but Sonofabitch I'm still at work. Fuck it, I snuck out and broke many traffic laws en route to Circuit City. I get there and ask "Do you still have it?" "Yes, it's the last one!" Sonofabitch, I've finally got my grubby little hands on this masterpiece and the next 72 hours or so to neglect my wife and son.

The major difference here is that I didn't go apeshit on an employee for doing his job. I was pissed at the situation, but I handled it like a big boy, not like you, screaming like a little bitch with a skinned knee. Then go crying to your daddy, jumping up and down like a 2 year old that just dropped his ice cream. You need to get your ass off of mommy's Dell before you get yourself in trouble. I was sharing a story that was ultimately something that I can now look back on and see humor in. Do us all a favor. One day if you grow up and a girl lets you put your little pee pee in her wee wee (yeah, big boys and girls do that) please use a condom to prevent the spread of genetic ignorance.

Everything was all in fun until you dissed on his Dell - that's SOOOO under the belt... eventhough I dont have one... nevermind.

I'm sorry for your fun at Best Buy though... I was fortunate enough to have a random friend from about 10 years ago working at my local Gamestop, so he called me the moment the manager walked in the door with the box of GoW. Too bad I still suck at it despite playing since about 2 on Tuesday

Here's mine- I'm a little kid (15) so i had to go to school today (10th grade). So i didn't have enough time to go get it before school. I was thinking no one was going to get GoW because my city isn't that big. So after school i had to work til 7. after that i get home and call all the rental stores (didn't have enough $ in my checking). One out of like 10 has 1 copy left. It's a take2video place and i have been to one of the take2's before and i got an account. I give him the info over the phone and he says he can't find the account. I'm like well my mom made one at the West Fargo one(the one i usual go to) and he is like, o yea we don't transfer account from store to store. I'm thinking (WTF!). and i say ok, and i ask my mom to make an account, she is watching her soap operas with my aunt and yells at me. There goes that idea. So I say, c ya later. and i get all bundled up(its like 20 degrees outside) and i ride my bike to wal-mart, which is like 3-4 miles away. For money i say to myself, i will just sell my xbox 1. I get there and I'm like"F*%#$&(%*&!)*%^!^#*$^$%(&#**(&$!!!!!!!!!!" because i just remembered it's probably rating M and I'm only 15 years old. So i say wtf they got a self checkout, ill use that. I get go back and ask a guy for the game. He hands it to me and asks if I'm 17. At this point I was thinking just grab and take off, really, really fast. but i obey the law and I'm like no. I think of many other ideas, i call my aunt, my sister, anyone at least 17, but they are all in their pajamas. So i ride home depressed and that gets me to where i am now.

Long story short- I rode 3 miles to wal-mart in 20 degree weather on my bike and i didn't get it.

Tipper Gore is one step closer hoooraaay!!! just wait 2 more years, cause that makes all the difference. just ask your politicians and thank great men like jack thompson while your at it. i feel bad for you son. when i was fifteen we could by smokes, we could purchase a porno vhs, and we could be exposed to violence in everyway a 21 yr old could. i think we all turned out just fine.
