Hi guys, just wanted to know what is the latest version freeboot i can use on my exploitable Xenon 360 m/board.Just bought the latest Nand-X Programmer v3 kit and i'm going for the QSB install method (seems more solid connections than using the bare wire method).
I've Jtagged a couple of Xenon boards in the past ( using the home made LPT method and had them running XBReboot ) but this is my very first attempt with the Nand-X an QSB's.
Any information from you fellas would be much appreciated indeed :)

IPB Image IPB Image. Here's a link to 2x pcs i'ce just taken of my exploitable 360 m/board,am i right in thinking that it's a Xenon and NOT an Opus board though,as the rear PSU socket hasn't got a small piece of plastic in the middle of the socket like a Xenon should have.I've searcheed google but can't find a lot of detailed pics or info on the Opus board ?

Indeed, judging from the power outlet it appears to be an opus/falcon.

Here is a pic of the opus motherboard.

I gotta admit, mouseym that my board does look very much like a Falcon but i myself replaced both the CPU and GPU heatsinks to the ones in my picture (as the old ones arn't that good to be honest) but my board has got the xenon Jtag points next to the HDD socket J1F1 which there are 6x small holes to solder either the switching diodes or the Xenon QSB that comes with the Nand-X programmer kit.I've soldered this QSB as per the fitting instructions. This is weird lol

Quite simply, falcon has hdmi, opus does not.

The opus is a replacement for the xenon when it gets sent back to microsoft for repairs.

Why are you concerned about which motherboard you have?

As i'm about to Jtag this 360 with my Nand-X Programmer.I've soldered all the small QSB's that come in the Nand-X kit including the J1F1 that goes to the row of small holes next to the 360's hard drive port ( only Xenon's have this row of connections i believe ) but as i said, when i checked my PSU socket,i was surprised to discover that there's no small plastic piece right in the middle of the socket.

Ah yes, i see it now.

Well, if it does have J1F1 then it has to be a Xenon.

Is this your 360 or did you buy it from someone?

It may have been sent in for repairs at sometime in regards to the power connector and it may have been replaced.

It has a Hana chip, NOT ANA, so it IS an OPUS.

Opps Edit, looked at the wrong pic.
