Help i cant get the correct status on a 0225 drive, this is the only one ive had trouble with. It wont move off staus 51 no matter what i do. I'm using the very latest jungleflasher and ive even reflashed the firmware on the USBpro but i still cant get the correct status. Ive tried dosflash 16 on a bootable usb but still get status 51, ive also tried onboard sata ICH10 and via 6421 but still no joy. The drive works perfectly in the console but i just cant get the key, ive done 0225 before and never had a problem. Hardware /software is ok and just done a 74850 using the usbpro so i know its functioning correctly. Ive even tried probing the MPX01 with my probe 3 but still no joy plus ive tried introing the drive under MTK tab but it wont budge off status 51. Any ideas?

is the SPI an MXIC or the miserable winbond?

Its a MXIC. All i want to do at the moment is get the key but as i said it just wont read it as it stays on status 51.

if you using the russian method, ensure the cuts are clean and the resistor is a 10ohm 1/4watt...sometimes 12 would give you a 51 status report.

slimkey is what you should be using,unless you have some kind of unlock device fitted/russian hack.

Slimkey gives incorrect status 51, all i want to do is read the key for the upcoming wasabi odd emulator. Do i need to do the russian hack to get the drive into the correct status 72?

use your x360usbpro forget about via/intel
press slimkey then NO to unlock.

Thanks for the reply but i managed to sort it out. It was a my CK3 Lite not powering down properly,faulty switch.
