Any Reasons Why Im Still Live?, How am i a oddball? Options

So my account was on xbox live i got after i modded the console, so it wont have changed, also ive barely touched the console in the last few weeks and my brother played a few copies of test drive (my only offcial game lol). Erm i got the spring update, i tryed to get halo 3 beta working but it didnt, erm but im still live as far as i know, should i expect to loose service soon or be reassured im good?

Well Ill let you know that you are not an oddball. No one can really answer your question as no one really knows. You might want to check in the theorys post, they might have some answers for you. I also would not mention anything about playing copys on live and all that mess.

You should try using less acronyms and spell correctly...it makes it really hard for people like me to read and understand it. You'd get more help if people could understand you.

i got a question , alot of people are sayign u should be safe if u flashed prior to going on live, well i went to market place and bought some arcade games using my silver account, then after 2 months i flashed, so would that count as live? i never actully played a game on live

no bro the theory is, if u mod the console and then after doing so set up a live account, ala buy one, set a fresh one up and then use it etc, then possibly (but none of this has been proved), you are covered against the banning

well i had an old account, but i got a new one in feb and ive been playing via that account since, and i got console modded back in september last year ye lol

My fingers are crossed that this is the case. Got a 360 modded straight from new before going on live with 5.3 firmware. As of 7am UK time monday 21st I'm still going strong on live

My machine is an original launch machine (v47 Hitachi) and I just modded the firmware about 3 weeks ago. Since then, Ive only backedup and played 1 game, of which I own the original. And this game i did not take online (the copy that is, just played to see if it worked). I have an original Crackdown and have been playing the Halo 3 beta since it was launched. (even as of last night).

Still no ban...

I know its inevitable, but Im at least trying to do whatever I can to avoid it. Like not playing backups over live (not even being connected while playing a backup) and only backing up original games (no torrent downloads etc.).

Who knows... only time will tell and if I get banned. Oh well, time for an Elite

You guys thought that maybe MS doesn't want to ban everybody at once?

Maybe they want to see the initial reactions first or maybe it takes time and they double check every single one before banning them.

I have a feeling everyone who hasn't been banned yet will be, just a matter of time.

Maybe if they'd banned everyone in one foul swoop there would be so few poeple left to play with on live it would make their service pretty much useless.
