your best bet is to try them both , i say both because Gamespy sux and its not worth your time .. you should be able to play with your DSL , most likely won't want to host .. have fun :]

i think xlink kai is better for people playing games other than halo2... but still, there's not many people playing much else. xbox connect is all halo 2. if that's the only game you have then xbox connect.. i use both

Now that I have cooled off.

It had to come from the xbconnect or Xbox-skins.net

Other then that I have not been to any other sites or installed any other apps.

Having worked with XBConnect in the past (since it's beginning up until recent) and from having spoken with Tod over the phone, I can guarantee to you that XBConnect was not the reason you had this "FileZilla" software on your computer. It's a clean group over there and Tod has always supported his no ads/spy ware policy for the program.

Also on occasion I have heard people with problems having both system link softwares on their computers. But that's a very rare occasion.

I've used both programs for years, and I like each one for different reasons.

Xlink Kai is cool because I can set it to the Americas section of halo 2 system link and choose between +30 games from my tv screen. The downside of this software is that there is no easy way of finding a low ping host.

XBC is cool because I can easily find a low ping server, but I don't like that I have to go over to the computer, ask my sister to let me fix something real quick, find another server, and then finally get back in the game.

If Xlink allowed ping filtering, then I'd say Xlink hands down.

I myself prefer using Kai.
To solve your using both programs problem. What you have to make sure is that their processes aren't running at the same time. [CTRL+ALT+DEL, PROCESSES, END PROCESS for the one which isn't supposed to be running].

You can still play with GameSpy?
Are there any players online?
