my xbox messed up and it turns out it was on of the heatsinks. i bought a replacment but it still doesnt turn on. is there a certain way that you are supposed to install it?

How did you come to the conclusion that your heatsink was causing your xbox not to turn on? Seriously I want to know where you came up with it? If the xbox is a version 1.6 then this is most likely the problem. 1.6 fix

ok how would i check the voltage? i forgot what its called... and the fact that the heatsink had burn marks on top of it
