Many have wondered why you can't turn in some of the items required for the Cure Vampirism quest, namely Bloodgrass and/or garlic to the witch who gives this quest for the cure vamp potion.

If you have finished the main oblivion quest, this is the reason for the glitch! sad.gif

It's to do with finding bloodgrass in oblivion gate areas and since you've closed all the gates, this is the reason for this annoying bug. Even if you buy it from vendors, it still doesn't solve the problem.

I have the same problem and was told by customer support to await a patch on xbox live!

Being stuck as a vampire untill Take-Two Interactive get their act together really sucks, and is ruining an otherwise faultless game sad.gif

you need 6 cloves of garlic, 2 sprigs of Bloodgrass, 5 sprigs of Nightshade, the Ashes from a head vampire (sub quest) and the blood of an Argonian (another sub quest)

I finished the 2 subquests for Argonian blood and the vampires ashes, then collected the Nightshade, Garlic and Bloodgrass.

When i returned to the witch who's supposed to make your cure vampirism potion she would only take from me the garlic, nightshade, Argonian blood and vampire ashes. The bloodgrass wasn't even available for me to hand over, even though i had 10 sprigs in my inventory!

Any more info on this glitch is appreciated.

I gave her both the dagger with the argonian blood and the vampires ashes but it wouldnt go to my completed quest's.

have you checked if any blood grass still grows around the demolished gates?

bloodgrass should be for sale in one of the alchemy shops in the imperial city market place.
2 or 3 available per day.

I didnt know the blood of argonian was a subquest, i just found one in the mage guild and stabed her while she was a sleep and ran, i didnt get punished or anything smile.gif .

I wouldn't go that far.... The loading screens are starting to get worse for me. I realized something though. It started when I rode Shadowmere. The problem is that he is so fast the game can't buffer the area load. If I walk normally, it's better. The game is damn fun though.

As i write this post, Take2 are working on a patch that should solve this problem both for PC and Xbox360 so i guess we'll just have to wait till it's released.

since the new mage tower has blood grass actually growing in it, can those blood grasses be used for the vampire glitch? worth a shot

well my thinking was there may have been a diffrence between bought and harvested blood grass. sorry for trying to help - i havnt been bit since i completed the quest so i cant be 100% how the problem was going... my bad
