Hi,

This is perfectly normal, the red LED flashing = modchip is on and working good.

If you start your XBOX with EJECT, the DuoX V2 will be off and so the red LED.

Hey,

I have the same problem my xbox does not work and my Duox V2 chip blinks red all the time!
If that's normal with this chip then i think i have a problem with the xbox mobo!!

It turns on and off all the time, on 1 xbox it turns on and off in both mods.
In the other xbox the original version works but when i use the chip it's starts and stops again.

I hops someone can help me.

I had my first faulty duox2 the other day, installed it in a 1.2 and it would try to boot 3 times with no luck.

I threw in another chip and it worked fine.

I still have the old chip i need to check all the chips are soldered on ok, i'm sure its something simple i just need to sit down with the magnifying glass and see if i can get it going again.

I installed a 1.4 today and the red light does not flash but it boots the executer bios fine. This is the fist time I have seen this behaviour.

Odd, I still love the duox2 chips tho smile.gif

I was under the impression that the flash was due to what bank you have selected.

Yes the LED on the Chip itself does blink red this is normal.
However your Xbox restarting or whatever is not so you have a problem with your install.
The LED on thechip blinking red has nothing to do with an error
If you get any weird problems after installing one of these always flick the bank switch back and forth a few times sometime in transit they are subject to pressure which stops them making contact internally. A few quick flicks and they will be fine. I have not had to link the switch out yet although someone has I believe

They came from a supplier in Sydney, Australia. I do not know where he gets them from tho.

They had fujitsu chips whereas I had always gotten ones with AMD chips.

I do now order them from divineo, the batch I recieved last had AMD chips once more.
