Nope.

If you were lucky enough to get the FW dumped and have you key then you can put a Samsung or Hitachi (up to 78fk) back into it, but if ya don't have the key then the only thing a new drive will do is play CDs and DVDs, no 360 games.

Not exactly, there are a couple of "fixes" that seem to work for the most part, removing the X-clamps and bracing the board being the best bet so far, but if none of them do work then ya still have an option, that is to part it out to recoup some of the cost of a new system, but you're still rolling the dice until M$ finally admits to screwing these things up and starts building them properly. Newer ones supposedly aren't as bad for dying, but they're new and haven't been used as much, so that data means jack for now.

Geez, nevermind what I was going on about in my last reply, I had a few threads open about 3RLOD issues and was thinking you had a 3RLOD issue going on there as well, my bad man.

Depending on "how" you bricked our drive you may be able to fix it, but you can't just replace the drive with the same make/model and have it work.

If you actually got your FW dumped you can get the key from it and install another Hitachi/Samsung drive as I started earlier. If you didn't get that far in the process before bricking it then you'll have to send off the drive to someone that can pull the FW chip and get the key off with an external programmer for you. This was a botched FW flash attempt correct?

Yes, It was a botched attempt. I tried flashing with the Birdy Hitachi Flasher, and it just destroyed my xbox LOL. I really don't know anyone that can fix these kind of thing, is there any place that u would tell me to send my xbox 360 dvd drive to to get it fixed as u stated?

Look in the Modchip Installer / Firmware Flashers forum for someone in your area that can do that kind of work.
