I know about quake 2 on the xbox, even quake 3, but what about Kingpin? now it's based off the quake 2 engine, is the source for this game released as well?

Quake I, II, and III have been ported already. Quake III just came out a few days ago. xbins is a good place to watch for such things.

I think a wishlist is a great idea though...so if you want to do a little more footwork you can see of the source has been released for some of the games you're interested in.

Ok, my ideas for the website were something like this:

- Keep a record of ported games, games with source and also sourceless games.
- Make it searchable
- AJAX website (everything on front page)
- Keep track of everything, so we could have this like Most Wanted Port smile.gif
- Keep track of porters? So they can tell that they are gonna start a port or working on it (just to make sure that 2 people arent working on the same port, which isnt always a bad idea but then they know)
- Let users add games to the site
- Show some info about game+port (who did it, ...)
- ...

Dope idea, would be nice to just refer people to the site instead of answering dumb questions. smile.gif

Might not need to be searchable initially, since it will all likely fit on a page right now. It might even help get developer interested in porting stuff... beerchug.gif

I moved the information in a database and the website now uses this.
Added some extra information like porter and more urls.
Can someone pm me with the current ports and status?

I'd love to see SiN ported to Xbox...can't see it happening cause SiN's Engine Source will probably never be released.
At least not in the next 4 years.

Half-life
G-Police
Duke Nukem Forever jester.gif

There was another FPS that I can never remember. Released on PC around the same time as Unreal. Used the quake2 engine. One of the levels had you strafing the roof of a bank with a copter-mouted chaingun before being dropped off and heading inside.
