I already posted this in the newbie section, but none of you xbox geniuses probably spend much time in that part of the xbox-scene forums. So, I will also pose the question here. Basically, I need to be able to put the disk drive in the master position and the hdd in the slave position. I just need to be able to switch the two on the IDE cable. I was wondering what's the easiest way to do this. If it can be done without a modchip, I would prefer that way. If not, what mod chip will allow for this. I tried just switching the two and get error code 9. I tried moving the jumper on the hdd to slave and switching the two and get error code 7. Any ideas, please let me know. Thanks to all you xbox wizards ahead of time.

You could only do that if you had a PC dvd drive, and even then I doubt it would work. Actually, I'm %99.99 sure it won't work.
