will be in it. It looks like only 3.41 or earlier will work with the jailbreak tools.

yes, i am a complete noob. my 360 just RROD'd on me and was looking at the possiblity of the PS3.

is it really as simple as gitting a usb jailbreak stick and dumping files to the drive?

It will probably either be 3.40 or 3.41. I just bought one last week and it was 3.40.

Im wonderin the same thing. I been tryin to get my hands on a second hand one so i can see what firmware it has before i buy but im not havin much luck.
There dosent seem to be any good info on what to look for on the box or anything (i have searched)
I thought there would be a serial tracker or somethin mad.gif

Im in the uk by the way.

160gig slims are reported to be @ 3.42

Well im still not quite convinced, but my chances of getting one are getting slimmer by the day especially with christmass coming up (no pun intended). I think I may take the plunge today and go and buy the 320 GB move bundle from tesco £285. fingers crosed wink.gif

Just found this

The ones people may want to avoid a console ending with 25xxA/B though.
25xxA (160gb) was released during August for USA and October for Europe.
25xxB (320gb) will be released on the 19th of September for USA and 15th of September for Europe.

There is a sticker on the underside of the box listing the model number, so you should have no trouble.

Current move 320gb bundles come with 3.40, purchased one 2 days ago from argos UK.

Whats the number on the one you got 2 days ago?
A few places are running out of em so I dont think the hackable ones are gonna last long sad.gif
Which argos did you get it from. I live quite close to you love.gif laugh.gif unsure.gif

Also a lot of places have sold out of the actual bundle but are selling them in separate boxes for the same price. will they still have old firmware?
