I have installed Evolution X and XBMC from the SLayer Install disc

When I go to Apps and select XBMC it just hangs at the Evolution X loading screen, all other apps work OK.

Can anyone help?

Use a file explorer to delete the XBMC folder and then try reinstalling it. I would however get a more up to date version of XBMC as the one on Slayers is at least a year old as is missing lots of cool new stuff. Once you have a new version, just FTP it into your apps folder.
