My friend has a Xbox 360 was working fine. He brought Rock Band games in and it ask to upgrade, so he press A buttom to upgrade then it stop and screen upgrade fail. Now, everytime he turn on, it pop up a screen shows "Can't find the update disc. Please reinsert the disc." and refund to load back to xbox 360 dask. Is anyone have this problem?

it happens. just hold down the sync button while you boot the console. keep holding it untill you get to the dashboard. that clears any failed updates. you should then be safe to update again

Just the Sync button, not with Eject button? I hold it for 5mins and its still hang in the "Can't find the update disc. Please reinsert the disc SCREEN".

Sh*t, it turns in more mess. I took the board out and i saw the GPU heatsink hangin' and dangin' there with xclamp unbanned. Which No pressure pull back the GPU heatsink down. So, i remove xclamp and banned it to create back pressure cause it pull the GPU heatsink touch in GPU chipset. Turn it on less than 10 sec then it get E74.. Now, i added more problems on this xbox crap.

How the hack it get oveheat so quick? or do i have pull too much pressure on gpu chip??


So, do i need the removed xclamp and replace with screws and overheat it?
