(edit) it wont go on this mobo, the heatsink was in the way of the chip sad.gif so i couldnot conutinue with install.

also i decided to use an x3 vs xenium

When your heat sink is in the way, tsop it.

I don't see what it is in the way of really but I know for a fact you could tsop it, and use 5035's, you have your self a bad ass little box. With a lot of the same functions as an X3

im going to put it on my other 1.0 mobo witout any obstructions, plus id rather fuck up on that mobo cause the heatsinks get hotter because of not as much goo contacting the chips, i will fix that later...

Paint the front panel and the little clip on piece around the buttons to match the top color. Also, Paint the bezel and then sharpie over the letters to make them black or silver again. Then remove the xecuter control panel and if you use it, then place it in the back.

I hate skins, and I'm not jealous, thats a simple photoshop then airbush over the PS template. No need for a sticker.

Not that it isn't a nice xbox, which it is indeed very nicely lit up. Good job draper beerchug.gif

thats not too bad. a couple of flaws i see, i dunno if it's the camera or what. There looks to be a ring of something...hot glue maybe?...around the underside of the jewel. kinda detracts from it. Also, most of your paint edges, where the silver meets the black, and the silver inside the fin channels looks a little rough. almost like you did it freehand instead of using a straight edge(tape, sheild, stencil, etc. )


other then that, not a bad box! i might have painted the faceplate in a similar manner, like blue on the inside of the face but not all the way to the edges, so it remains cohesive.
