you need to keep posting 2-3 times each time you reply

you cant put a new HD in becuase a new HD wont be locked either, youll be having the same issues

if you have a friend with a hardmodded xbox you should be able to unlock his HD, flash your eeprom on his xbox, lock your HD, then reflash his old eeprom

otherwise you need a modchip or a computer to do it yourself


and BTW you say you have been banned, is this the same HD you were banned with? you need a new HD as well as a new eeprom to get unbanned

yeah thats why ive got my comps hardrive but it soesn't have xbox stuff in it and i get an error 16 with it.

well that ones locked properly, youll have to copy stuff off your old HD and put it on the new one (using a PC and xhdm, no, theres no way around this)

also, youll need a new gamertag to get back on Live since youll be using a non-stock HD

so when i put my new(the one from the comp) Hard Drive ill need to put all the stuff from my other drive(the one in the box) to it. Because im not going to mod this hardrive. so should i just put the unmodded stuff in or not.
