Thanks, I appreciate the reply but I have already looked at all the pages on xboxlink.co.uk but I cant find the simple beginner instructions. I know how pissed off people get with newbies asking stupid questions, but I have searched the forum and looked all over the main site and cant find it. I have forwarded the ports, have my xbox networked correctly with my hub, etc. I just dont know where to install bo-xlink. Do I just chuck it in a folder called bo-xlink in my E partition?

you can chuck it wherever you like... our website doens't have help on how to put boxlink on yoru xbox because it's assume knowledge.. and it really depends on your dashboard's setup.. but anyhow, if evox.ini is set to automatically find all applications in the folder E:\APPS\, then just make a new folder in that subfolder, upload all files over then reboot xbox and evox should now show bo-xlink...

Ok. I have bo-xlink up and running. I go into room mode, i find a halo room. It shows 2 other players in the room as well as me. Both of them have there ping numbers (???) next to them but I dont. I use the in-built reset and launch halo but it doesnt detect any games. Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong? Thanks.

I dont really understand all of that information you posted, but does that mean he is having the same problem as me?

On the official site it says the tutorial for bo-xlink is coming soon. Does anyone know where I could find an early copy of this tutorial so I can resolve my problem?

Thanks.

there really is nothing to boxlink, its just an app like any other. I guess they are making a tutorial for it, but it really isnt necessary, It just remote controls xlink, and the help screen can be brought up by pressing a button on the control pad.

Man, sounds like you are doing nothing WRONG m8 LoL

i suggest tho' try another link game, as halo pisses me off, becase you can only link with the SAME region IE: PAL, or NTSC etc etc, the games you saw were prob for a different region anyways.

get yourself onto the chat room bit, and arrange/ask people if they wouldnt mind helping you test, if bo-xLink loaded up fine, your all set, mine was all setup in a matter of minutes. smile.gif

oh and while im at it i would like to encourage these new players to PLEASE
Use WGN Mode !!
it makes it all so much better, and if multiple games are being played, you will SEE ALL of them on your xbox to link to rather than just 1, then changing to another room, etc etc.

i use xLink and love it, thanks again TD and the rest of the xLink Crew, great work Guys its much appreciated here:)
