I wanted to buy my 5 year old niece a portable game system. I thought that she was a little young for a PSP or DS, so I bought her a portable Genesis that had 20 pre-loaded games on it. It's a pretty cool little handheld, but there's only a couple of good games on it. The rest are pretty meh, so I was wondering if anybody knew of way to load custom games on it. Let me know if you do. Here's a link to the system I bought.
