Okay, need help from the you pro guys over here at xbox-scene and I did my research and still no answer! Okay heres my issue:
I currently own a Hitachi ROM: 0047DJ and I opened my console to see if I could fix the infamous "clicking" my drive makes whilst loading a map in lets say GRAW2, or FORZA2. As the lens gets to the outer edge of the disc it clicks for some unknown reason, I tried cleaning the laser, the DVD spindle and re-lubing the gold colored rod that moves the laser assembley.

Anyone else ever had an issue like this?! It seems like im the only one, can somebody please help me!

Btw, this cause the disc to stop once a lot of clicking as started. Btw, these games are scratch free.

Okay, just tried it standing up, no luck, still clicks. I have no idea why it's doing this.

Or a new 360. I've been wanting to try the BenQ's, my other 360 I guess bit the dust. It was my little launch box.
