Fear Headed To The 360? Options

Kage came over one day just to try the FEAR demo(this was months ago) I was talking so highly about, and sure enough he liked it as much as I did. I must have said 100 times "man this would rock on the 360, I hope it happens"

5 months later...

I'll believe it when its in my hands but things look promising. As long as Raven isnt doing the port....



Oh and my pc ran it decent enough to get a feeling for the game but that was about it. That creepy soundtrack with 5.1, sitting on the couch playing thru the dlp projector on the big screen....





360 for the win! again!

anyways FEAR has been one pc game that I have been dying to play on the 360, condemed rocked so i think this will as well, good news for me!!!

monolith could do it....look at condemmed...im a big fan of FEAR on PC..and them bring it to 360 is a plus..i play that thing non stop on pc online..WOW!..and the single player is top notch...if you want to play against your self on a single player...put the difficulty on hard....the AI is sick....

so i cant wait...

for anybody wants to know... awhile back they interview the people that produced it...FEAR 2 is coming on PC..and if you have beaten FEAR....ohhh man..you would want part 2...trust me

after playing a game on pc and playing with a keyboard and mouse, it then sucks to go to a controller.

for example, how terrible was counter strike for xbox? that was to greatest worst hits in a month.i think fear will be the same thing. not only is it mouse and keyboard that makes pc games better, but the ability to have an edge with graphics and make them top notch. i dont think fear will be as good as pc version. the controls will suck, and looking back to CS so will the gameplay.

i do hope im proved wrong tho.

same thing my friend said until he got used to it. but for each their own i guess. some games r good as FPS on a console. but for me adding a keyboard and mouse i have the edge over everybody.

played Fear demo a few months back and couldnt stand using mouse/kb, it just feels so odd after leaving pc gaming for a couple years.

You couldnt pay me to go back to it, thats all I know

Had FEAR on my PC for a bit, and it rean fairly decently, but the one thing that made me stop playing after the first level or 2 was the fact that the regular gun (some sort of M16 thing I guess), was always shooting in bursts. I could NEVER find a way to switch it to single shot, and it just drove me nuts. It was like I click the mouse to shoot, and it's like a 1.5 second burst every single time. Just wasn't what I was expecting. Perhaps I'm just an idiot, and just didn't know how to change the rate of fire, but I hope the 360 version has a way to change it.

Other than that, it looked like an freaking awesome game. I will definately get it for the 360.

ive got a decent equilibrium between FPS's when it comes to keyboard/mouse vs gamepad. I still play CSS and have been playing a lot of GRAW and its a different world, and the only thing that keeps it fun is that in both games you are facing those with the same interface. So if one is more clumsy and another is slow, everyone has the same advantages and disadvantages. thats why im hoping no smart frag joy ever comes out for 360
