Anyone have a problem similar to this? I haven't played in a while (finals, etc.) and now ever since after the dash update I haven't been able to hear any game/dashboard audio through my headset, only voices. Anyone have any idea what I can check? I took the plastic shell off my standard a/v cable so I could use my hdmi cable for video and optical for audio in my headset.

Edit: I unplugged the a/v cable and plugged it back up and the xbox turned off and wouldn't turn all the way back on it was stuck on the green little light in the center of the power button, no video so I unplugged it, still wouldn't turn on with just hdmi cable so I let it sit for a while and now it works with just the hdmi cable plugged up >.<
