Why is it that my elite 360 has problems reading the newer games?
At first I had the problem that it said play DVD instead of Play game.
I thought maybe it's my lite-on drive so I replaced it with a benq.
Now it reads the games but hangs very soon after booting the games and gives me the error 'disc unreadable'.
I think that when I do an iso stealth check with XBC, the games I can't play also fail the test.
Also my other normal xbox also has a benq spoofed as hitachi with ixtreme 1.6 and doesn't have any problems.

Any suggestions?

what media are you using.sounds to me like its either your media or your burner.

You need to make sure your drive is flashed with IX 1.5.1 or newer to play new games.

Will it give unreadable message on wave3 games if your firmware is not current?

All mine are 1.6 so I have never run into this issue - just curious.
