FreeBSD is a free, Unix like operating system derived from the Berkeley Software Distribution. It is now possible to run FreeBSD on your XBox. In the initial release IDE, USB, audio, CD/DVD and the framebuffer device are fully supported. The Xbox's on-board ethernet is unsupported but this is being worked on.

You forgot the original mandrake, although your are actually better off using mandriva since mandrake only boots on 1.0 xboxs.

Also you forgot minisxb and sxbonastick smile.gif

Did you try updating the kernel and such?

I wasnt around when Mandrake was here, but im sure if you update some of the software and most definately the kernel with a 2.4.29-xbox

It's good to keep this list current and not for historal reasons for that view xbox-linux. Reason being alot easiler to not confuse noobs!

This is great stuff!! I was wondering which Linux distro would be good for me. I am running a softmoded box using Ndure 3.0 & XBMC as my dash. I would like to keep XBMC as my default dash and run the linux distro as an app. I thought Id seen a distro of that awhile back but I cant remember which one.
