well sorry but you are both wrong, MS has Nothing to do with the posting of this demo, up to the developers of the game (relic, thq), and the 3rd party company that is handling xbox live for the 360, MS has virtaully no say in the matter.

did you not understand? yes the developers have to actually make the demos and send the code to MS but after that its up to the LIVE team to test the demo, certify it, and put it on the marketplace.

And what part of my post did you not understand. MS is the name not the actual host!.

what you think some lady at the MS help desk is sitting there with the demo disk waiting to be uploaded to the 3rd party server.

why would they even send the disk to MS??

think about it,

there refering to MS as the "name" which in return is the name of the server, the data (demo) which is sent to the HOST.....

please re think ur post.

Perhaps the demo was being tested over the weekend by the Live Team and it will be put up tonite when they update the servers. It's not a simple matter of just putting it up there. They have to rebuild the server image first and make sure everything is kosher. Yes, MS is slow, but that's what happens when you're one of the largest companies in the world.

Maybe "tester" isn't the right name but there is an actual group of people at MS that must approve each and every game as well as each and every downloadable item on Xbox Live before it ships/becomes availble for download.

Just played the demo...its awesome how you can play on Live on the Demo! Great game so far, I would like to be able to play the Single Player game though. I might have to get this game now.

that just proves how different we all are and how subjective gaming is biggrin.gif

I suggest everyone download it and try it for themselves, regardless of someones opinions. Its free so not much 2 lose, except faith in developers, lol.

Im glad I tried it, now I know I wont be missing anything when the real deal hits stores. Infact, They should have paid me for trying that mess laugh.gif

There you have it... though seriously if you're a gamer and not familiar with certification processes then you're living in a hole under a rock somewhere.

Also how is Major Nelson not a "credible source" the guy is one of the head honchos over the Xbox Live division, and easily one of the most open and frank people when talking about Xbox stuff.

The MS PR people will talk out of the sides of their mouth all day long. the Major typically sets the record straight...
