should i use the ybox bios for live- is this safe...ill have my live kit next week- just want to be prepared....thanx

To carry on from my other thread (I axed the same question basically)....wouldn't the SAFEST way be to use the fancbox util to create your own bios and dashboard bootname? That way they can't target all the common ones like yboxdash.sbe, evoxdash.xbe, etc?

well a friend (bwn82k) of mine had a pretty good point....ms could honestly scan the whole c drive for anything named .xbe- and only leave the one named xboxdash.xbe./...

yes, honestly they could... but if you think about the way xbox works... they'd have to include the scanning into some game, or a dashboard update... they can't just send you code to run on your box while you're playing, the xbox not a multitasking device... of course, they could probably trojan some game release like.. halo2... do a little GAMEOVER type thing...
