Yeah some CEs haven't implemented HDMI correctly, it will be interesting to see who dropped the ball. I read a review on cnet that had issues with a pioneer receiver passingthe HDMI signal, but none of the other receivers in their labs had the problem and thus it was a pioneer problem. Can't remember if it was the PS3 or another HDMI device, i.e. HD-DVD/Blu-Ray player they were testing.

On a brighter note it works like a charm on my brother's sharp. HDMI from the PS3 to the TV, plugged in the power cord and turned it on, that was it.
