My primary disc works fine using my Xecuter 2.3 Lite and Avalaunch, but my friend, using (Xenium and Evox, I think) has the same problem as you. You might try switching dashboards, though I don't know if it is chip or dashboard related.

When I put in the bonus disc, however, it said something like 'updating Xbox live' (I had my Ethernet cable unplugged, fortunately), and I freaked so I turned it off really fast.

Anyone know what that is all about? I don't use Live, but I was worried it might try to over-write my dahsboard with a new M$ dash or something.

Anyone seen this type of behavior on this or other games? If so, what should I do?

cool thanks, i didnt much ilke fable just because the story seemd to first grade. jade seems to be a little more advanced.

I have this same exact sound problem. Is it only us??? alienn did you try using the bonus disc? I didn't. Maybe that could be it?

no I didnt
only the 9 version on my HD....you know...I dont have a dual layr dvd so i put it on my HD...it is pising me off...doesnt it?

I only have it on HD as well. I find that if you save and then reload the game...that helps.

what kind of chip and xbox do you have?pal?ntsc?

I have the same problem and its killing me!!! I have the DVD5 version and I have it stored it into my HD. Now when u say save it, then reload it, do u mean save, it, and do IGR, and restart the game by choosing it from the list of games?

I think that the problem is the HD
it may be to fast and that is why it is skiping sound

I mean save the game in Jade Empire, and then go to Load and load it. It usually fixes the problem for me.

I get the same thing. The game is awesome and I want to be able to load the extra character and what not. I'd appreciate it if anyone has any clues on how to accomplish this.
