u'll have about 4.3 gigs on your E drive where u can save games we're talking 1-2 normal games

8 Gigs is standard. I dont think you can fit any games on there (maybe one). Anyway, each game is about 3-4 gigs big dependant on what you take out (i.e. language files etc).

EDIT: Sorry, you beat me to it! biggrin.gif

Western Digital = 8Gb

Segate = 10Gb

The Segate however only has 8Gb formated and partitioned, you can easily use your dash or an app and select the option to (Format F:), a new 2.2Gb F: partition will be created on your xbox hdd.

Is it faster to run backups?

edit: how much would a 20g harddrive cost? (I'll google for it meanwhile)

about 30% faster gaming from the hard drive a 20 costs more than its worth u'll get more bang for you buck if u buy a larger hard drive.

there are lots of good deals on hard drives in the BST section

If you're in the US, pick up the 80gb WD from Circuit City....it's $20 after 2 rebates.

Sweet deal, the ones on ebay arn't really cheap as I expected.

p.s. is it easy to turn off your mod for LIVE if you soft-moded?
