I have HEARD that if you set your xbox clock to a date for which an expired xbox 2 month trial was valid, it will work? Can anyone confirm this? I have tried to do this but when trying to signup, xbox live makes me go through troubleshooter everytime right after i change the clock and it resets to the actual time by syncing to the internet; so no dice. Anyone get this to work? On xbox.net i saw a few people who said that they have but im not sure if micro$oft may have recently fixed this glitch.

I am keeping my xbox off for 3 hours (unplugged) to see if that makes a difference since i will now be propted to enter the local time before anything else.

thanks

I signed up for Live a few days ago with an expired 2 month trial with no problems. With correct date and time.

the truth is the expiration dates mean pretty much nothing, the trial codes dont actually expire

i just gave a buddy of mine a code that supposedly expired last july and it worked with no clock adjustments, maybe older codes expire, maybe it depends on what game the code came in

Now that you mention it, I thought I read somewhere that MS was extending the deadline on those because people were still buying H2 and other games that came with the free trial. Anywho, I tried one that came with Madden 05 back in April (I think) and it had expired buy one month and it said code invalid blah blah expiration blah blah.
