A lot of cool skins have been released lately but none have been quite what I've been wanting for my emulators so I thought I'd try and make a few of my own. The emu frontend Hyperspin has always had some great looking system themes so I shamelessly stole all the images from those, also a few from Maximus Arcade, oh and the buttons from the dynamic PMIII skins.

Just thought I'd show a few of these off cos I'm quite pleased with how they look. I'll be doing one for every system eventually. Sorry the pics suck.

YES

This is exactly what is needed, a uniform skin, where each system has its own personality still.

I can't wait for this, looks amazing!

I like them all well done. Especially like the Genesis and Atari ones.
PS. Your camera work is way better than mine. lol.
Sssshhhh on the pinching bits, some get really annoyed about that.

Glad I'm not the only one who likes them happy.gif. I forgot to mention that they all have basic animations on them too (the system names slide into view and such)

Of course I'd be happy to share with anyone who wants them. Keeping in mind though that these are made for 16:9 SD only since that's my setup. Here's a couple more I finished today.

I know but I figure since every piece of software in this scene is compiled with a stolen SDK I'm really not going to worry too much about that. I just didn't want anyone thinking I was trying to take credit for other people's graphics.

Hey Likklebaer, I'd be interested for a link to get your skins plz.

BTW, what do you call 16/9 SD ?

I mean a non-HD widescreen TV. Obviously you can use them on a regular 4:3 TV as well but everything will appear vertically stretched.

I'll package them up and post a link tomorrow. Off to bed now. happy.gif

Lol, sorry, I wanted to get one more finished before I uploaded them but I got sidetracked. happy.gif

Here are all the skins posted so far. I haven't tested them on any system but mine so apologies if anything doesn't work right:

These skins are just perfect! Attractive, practical, but most of all they evoke the feeling of each system, and bring me out in floods of nostalgia!!

Thanks so much - I hope you get time to do more... a C64 one would be great!
