I've just installed X-DSL and its great, aside from one niggle.
The resolution is slightly bigger then the screen. I seem to have lost between 5 and 30 pixels off each edge. This makes it very annoying to work with windows (I can't simply maximise them and new ones sometimes appear where I can't see the whole thing).

I'm having the same problem. Slightly larger widescreen in my case. I believe I read a thread of the way to adjust the calibration of the screen is through the linuxboot.cfg file, but the thread referenced a site that is now dead. It mentioned a command called "messign" for the linuxboot.cfg. Can anyone clarify how to calibrate the screen in X-dsl??

OK, I found a thread that may be of some help here. See friedgold's second post regarding HDTV and widescreen. If anyone has a "monitor"/screen calibration GUI for the X-box or know how to port one from a normal PC to work on X-box please post a reply.
