I don't have any lens cleaner or lighter fluid (I was suggested this). Anything else that I could use?

A Q-tip would be best? Paper towel is a no-no?

Off topic question... does a FRAG on a non-modded xbox usually mean that there's a hard drive problem?
It stops at the Xbox logo screen for like 5 seconds, and then says "Xbox needs to be serviced" etc. etc., and then it FRAGs.

Actually it seems to be booting fine for now. The person who gave it to me says it only sometimes FRAGs.

First Get all the crap off with light paint thinner or Iso-alcohol then hit it with Plain Toothpaste on a sheet of blank paper.

Don't use paint thinner, it can damage plastic optics if you don't get it off quick enough. Don't use toothpaste either its abrasive. IPA is best but if you don't have any use vodka

3 parts purified water to 1 part isopropyl. In a spray bottle, it also makes a great disc cleaner.
