Yea, I was also having to same problem.
I try deleting my whole milkdrop folder and reinstalling it and getting that same default visualization. So I when back to XBMC 1-06, installed it and then installed 2-24 on top of it without the visualization folder. Still no luck. blink.gif

I'll also report that I have this issue, although I admittedly haven't taken any action to try to rectify it.

Try re-copying "milkdrop.xml" into UserData\Visualisations.

If that doesn't work, double check that the zip file it mentions exists in the Visualisations\MilkDrop folder.

Did that work? I'm having the same problem. It just plays the same boring preset over and over and never switches like it did before.
