I unfortunately got a bad original TX PCB and was extremely disappointed. I would take the risk with a clone just to test it out. I just wonder what a clone goes for compared to the original TX ones.

I think its time for team X and the boys to man up and start either..... charging less for their products or.... higher quality products. BTW im surprise none of the team X fanboys are on this thread backing them up.

exactly, i mean i appreciate what tx provides us but they have overpriced the unlocked pcb $80 (£50) for a board which costs the same price of a full slim dvd drive. the reason chinese versions appear because they know they the real value of these boards which means they can sell em for a lot less.

it's like the beats by dre studio headphones, the fake ones have the same sound quality at 75% cheaper.

They have the "fake" coolrunner on dealextreme, says designer coolrunner or something like that. Didnt see the PCB there.

It costs $15.80 for the "fake" there, so you are saving like $4 + ship costs.

I bought 10 coolrunners online for $170 from a xecuter retailer and got free shipping, so I didn't pay to much more for the real thing.

I would be interested to see the price the "fake" pcb goes for. I dont use them anyway.

TX is a greedy company in my opinion, i used to buy all there products but after buying the lizard kit i can honestly say im sticking with lizard from now on

TX has to be very greedy to charge as much as they do for the 360 usb thingy for flashing drives and its software based

The lizard is hardware based and is the easiest thing in the world, best part is you dont need jungle flasher which makes it so much more easier and it feels well built

TX is just a name now, nothing more they used to be great but got too greedy and now release sub par products and slap on $20 for the TX name

i have bought the x360glitch chip and programmer and they are amazing and CHEAP

The good thing is that now poeple are starting to open their eyes and realize that team x is not in it to make the xbox360 modding community better, their in it to milk it for all its worth and at the same time conspire to withhold information/methods and even sabotage. If they are not it to make this community better then why should we as a community support these guys? Im not a fanboy of anybody but I do and will support groups/teams/people that are trying to make this a better community. With that being said, let it be known Team X is F'ing it up for themselves.

i was banned from TX for wanting to do the kamaikaze hack on my pcb even tho i was using a tx ck3 pro to do it... have you noticed that they do not promote the kamikaze hack? it's because it's a free fix & they have nothing to gain from that... they are very greedy.

i bet the fake pcb is just as good and technically they are both clones of the orginal m$ pcb so they are both fakes just different distributer... i'd go for the cheaper one, tx are getting greedy.

the only difference i can see is the color of the wires and difference in wieght (1 gram, lol)

i'm probably going to grab myself 5 of the copies. you write in BULKRATE as a discount code and they sell the chips for 14$ each. compared to 15 POUNDS + shipping i payed from CK3.co.uk i count this as a goddamn steal.

and looking at the photos it even seems the copies have better build quality, atleast to the naked eye. it's kinda disappointing tho, i always prefer originals in all the situations, but it seems copies are winning right now

just came by this thread.

A week ago I received 10 chips from the official german supplier "gamefreax".

According to the box they are packaged in and the PCB mine are "Rev. B".

A little note is printed on the edge of the PCB, right next to the connectors for the programmer.
Also the layout is a little different and some parts have a different color - e.g. the "PRG/NOR"-switch is black, not white.

Is there even a "Rev.B" of CoolRunner chips?!

Or is it a different chinese remake?

They are working flawlessly, but if they are remakes at least I want to have a discount

Just saw this topic. Well, t be honest, I tried the cloned Rv b coolrunners, it worked flawless. Even boot time are the same as the original ones.

If you might know, a clone Rev Coolrunner, was sold at USD10-12/ piec with complete wiring and hologram stickers. Well compare to the original ones. My God is way too expensive.
