today when i pluged in my usb thumb/pen drive while the system was off the drives read light lit up like it was being read and quickly shut off, when the drive is in standby the light pulses, but when being read it flashes fast. maby this can be lead to an exploit or some type of bios restore??

go grab your thumb drive and check it out

I believe this is due to the nature of the USB ports.
When you plug a wireless controller in with the Play and Charge kit, it "trickle charges," which means it charges slowly.
But that's just my take on it.

Yeah, I have my external HDD plugged in all the time, and the LED on it stays on. Ive left my 360 alone for a week and the light was still on.

That honestly made no sense.

How about this:
"Your mom's your exploit."
No better, huh?

Honestly, it's not even powering at full capacity, it might cost you $1 a month, if that. Maybe more like $.50.

my xbox usb ports dont stay on unless the system is in a weird "sleep" state, where the fan keeps going, but the ring of light is off and so is the system except for the USB huh.gif
