I'm new to Halo 1 modding, alough I have been modding Halo 2 for some time now, and I want to get banshees and ramps in to the Sidewinder map. I know how to decompress maps etc and get mods to my xbox so don't bother telling me about that unless you want to. Anyway, I downloaded a mod for Blood Gulch with big ramps and banshees, and I want to put big ramps and banshees on another map. I have Sparkedit and HMT, what do I do?

If i can remember correctly you have to extract teh meta for the item [recursive] then inject it over unused things in the map. Then re-link the dependancies to each other. Long and annoying process.

Too true, if only there was an Insolence for Halo 1... Bringing stuff into MP is easy though, recursive extract it with HHT5, then recursive inject into a MP map with HHT5, it auto links MOST stuff, you may need to do some... Sadly it won't work to put things in SP

errr. what program would I do this with, and how. I've never used HMT. And even in Halo 2 I only sed insolence to transfer stuff between maps (I didn't say I was very good).

Actually, HHT5 does all the linking, and its a quick and easy process.
Older versions of HHT had you do it manually, but not version 5. Just select the Banshee Vehicle tag, save it to a directory (make sure recursive is checked). Then open the destination map, check recursive, click inject, select the directory where you saved, then select the banshee vehicle.
