Alright for the past few hours i was woreking on my xbox. I was drillin holes in it for the EL Wire, and using hot glue to keep it in place. Anyway, there is hardly any room in my xbox to but the boxes that come attched to CC's and the EL wire, so i put it under the dvd. The HD was bulging out a little. I tried to close the case, but it would go down all the way, and i said to hell with it. Then i screwed the 6 big screws back in. And flipped my xbox ovcer and noticed a spot right by the jewel was warped. I think the hot glue might have done it, but im not sure. It is very small tho, u canm only really see it when the light shines on it. Does any1 know why this happened? It might give me an excuse to buy a new case. Cuz my paint job wasnt that well, and now this.

I figured it out! I guess i tightened the on of the center T20 screws too tight, and it made it looked like its warped, but i unscrewed everything, and it disaapeared, i would post but pics of my xbox, but i have too much Homwork 2nite, and i wanna ait till my LED's get here, and install them. Then i'll post pics. The Pics should be up by Sunday. It looks good. But i am having another major problem... I dont have enough room in the xbox to put the stuff i have in there. Thye HD sticks out just enough for the case not to go down all the way, any suggerstions where to but the stuff? The satuff is wires, those stupid boxes that come attached to EL wire, and a CC. I put most of it under the DVD tray, but it wont all fit, any suggestion?

i wish i could, but i live in the US, the cases usually range from $50-$150 plus shipping. Shipping is a bitch tho cuz they r shipping it from the UK, if you live out there and can ship me a case (I've got the $) i would greatly appricited it. PLZ PM me if u can, i really want a crystal case!

get a double inverter, plug the el wire and the cathode into it
will only take half the room

Why did you bump your post? You already figured a solution to your problem...

By the by, go with a dual inverter as aweirdguy mentioned. There's no sense in doing a crappy job on your Xbox (by that I mean having to torque down one of your screws down hard enough to warp the plastic) if you don't have to.

You dont need to solder a resistor to each led. You can put them in a circuit.
