I've been trying all day to get my VIA PCI 6421a card to work in windows. I have installed the latest drivers from viaarena.com, windows sees the device the fine without the 360 hooked up to it.

After I hook up the 360 to the SATA card and place my Hitachi 78 into modeb, I boot up windows and the device manager has a yelllow exclamation point next to the Sata card and says "Device Cannot Start: Code 10". I have tried every pci slot I have in the pc. I have tried both ports on the sata card itself. I have tried reseating the card multiple times. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. This is very frustrating. Any help?

What brand card is it? Maybe uninstall and then get the drivers from the retailer's official website.

It's a Via 6412 which is supposed to work with the Hitachi 78. The drivers im using are the latest from their website.

It doesn't work when plugged into my ich6 onboard sata either. Maximus toolbox freezes up every time I try to raw dump.
