Is it possible to change rom directories if I don't wish to place my roms in the default folders?

Yes. I think you will need to run the emulator once and then look in the 'ini' folder where you installed the emulator. There you should see a file named 'fbaxxx.ini'. Open that up in a text editor and you should be able to change the ROM paths.

Here I have the same trouble with 1.28
When I switch to 480P/720P with HD output, it freezes.

No problem with 1.26...

Any clue ?

is there a trick to getting screenshots to show up?

i moved all the png files from this pack:

I'm also having issues switching this emulator to HD. So are we limited to running this version in 480i? That seems to be the consensus.

I havent actually tried 1.28 pro but in the non pro release this is based off of your ms dash MUST be set to widescreen or HD modes will crash

That's been well-documented in this topic already, but thank you.

My Xbox is set up correctly to enable the use of HD modes on emulators.

So am I hearing that I have to use 1.26's .ini file with 1.28 to be able to switch to HD modes without crashing?

Cool another update, can someone please tell me how to sort my roms into sub-directories like csp1, csp2 etc. I was told to use the shell operation but I just don't see how to do it.



What i did was i deleted the default folders n the roms folder(csp1csp2 neogeo,..ect) and just put all my roms in the roms folder. Then i went into my FBAxxx PRO v1.28 emulator and for some reason it set up my roms automatticaly where they should go...........

They must go to prewievs folder (and must have the name of rom)

I am getting the same garbled screen I get on the Xport emus on 480p, which I can fix by switching to 720p (usually by pressing down once, A, down once, A, down twice, A, down once, A, A, A).

I have had this code memorized, its funny. What is the proper button sequence to change the resolution to 720p in FBAPro? Again, I need the sequence, as I cannot see anything but a garbles screen!

Ohhhhh... skins would be nice.

Could you make them for MameOX too??? The arcade emus are two of my favorite emus, but MameOX is hideous and the interface isn't the most user friendly. (No offence to the creators who made a kick ass emu).

I've noticed some rather sweet changes in the most recent version, like support for some SEGA games like Turbo Outrun, ThunderBlade etc. smile.gif

ph34r.gif Alright alright, I will help you all... To set progressive mode without crashes, the only way is to set in the folder directory "ini" inside fba, then modify a line inside the text "fbaxxx.ini" :
scroll down till you find the section "video option":

/ / Video Options
nCurrentVideoMode=0 <===change to 1 (interlaced=0,progressive480p=1), then save and exit.




Now your fbaxxx works in 480p mode =) (maybe even change to 720p without any crash I hope) ph34r.gif

And nes6250... I can't wait to play your version of fba... any more news about? cool.gif
