also forgot is u r gonna use the method i suggested , you will also need a wire link on the chip as shown in the first pic here u should really try working thru the steps that hackdabox outlines in his troubleshooting guide

LOL. I think you are confused. YOU SUCCESSFULLY MODDED YOUR BOX. It shows your hacked bios loading (I am 99% sure it said Xecuter at the bottom of the boot logo rather than MS). If you don't install another dashboard it goes to the MS DASHboard by default. SO get yourself a CD like Slayers Auto Installer and load a dashboard onto your box and you are good to go.

Dude, i want to get on live. and no.... I deleted the unleash i installed beforea nd installed the MS dash from AutoINstaller Deluxe 2.0. so yes. whats wrong?

yes. Live bans your based on what Bios was booted. So if you boot from a hacked bios, regardless of what dashboard you use, you will get banned.
You need a retail Bios. From what I am reading you tried a softmod/TSOP flash maybe and killed your retail BIOS.

yes you will be banned !!!!!!!!! , if you can load unleash x , then your chip is on isnt it?????? , what is happening with the chiup taken out of the xbox??? does it still boot up? i dont understand how you are getting a problem loading the ms bios????

**if you can get to the unleash dashboard , your chip is running , i woluld suggest using slayers disc or some kind of auto installer to format your hard drive this will put a hacked dashboard , and make sure your ms dash is complete

I am frustrated just reading this post ! lol

To setup a dashboard just Download AID 2.11 final.

Remove the chip from the headerpin and turn it on ? what happens ? any error code displayed ?

If it boots and says MS under the big X then your tsop is fine , if it frags then yout tsop is dead and you should get a duox2 ( not a lite ) keep the lite for another install as you will need 2 bios banks !

1 bios bank will be a compatible MS bios and the other bios bank will have a Xecuter 2 bios on it !

Another thread has just come up with a problem described which could possibly be the case with this..

As HackDaBox said though, you need to ascertain that the TSOP is not broken as that would obviously stop you being able to boot from the Xbox's MS bios..

im no xbox pro, but my guess at this point (with what youve said), his TSOP (?) is busted. not sure though (im a noob, also wink.gif).

You can either get yourself a 29 wire mod chip to reflash your TSOP. Or just use a dual bios chip and flash one bank with a retail bios and then flip it over when you need to play live.

...Best bet is to do what HackDaBox said. And yes, you can boot a retail bios from the chip and use it to go on live without getting banned.

If you get a regular duox2 (2 banks, cromwell or the blue), you can wire up an external bank switch and flash one bank with hacked and one with retail.. Or you could buy a slightly more expensive chip like the x2.6CE that already has an external bank switch...
