we've finally opened the pandora's box on the complicated file structure in this game...

if anyone wants to help out, we'd love to see some new talent among us... We're currently working on extracting many of the character textures. skinning this game will soon become as much of a reality as it is with doa3

lol fire. sould calibur 2 is a great fighting game but adding skins isn't exactly unbelivable lol not to put you guys down or anything. good job though keep up the good work

Screw that guy...u guys that are hacking SC2 RULE! I wish I had the time and knowledge it takes to even attempt what you guys are doing. If I had the source code for SC2 it would still be difficult to create skins, much less doing it through encrypted code and hex editing. Congrats and thanks for all your efforts this far!

well, i certainly hope so, but one step at a time
we havn't extracted any meshes yet, but we have come across what appears to be mesh data before... It is all rather difficult to make out because it appears that Namco stripped all of the filenames from the directory structure when they compiled the game.
