whould there be a problem with not breaking off the D0 piece on the lt opx chip? what would happen? i have installed the pinheader and soldered the chips D0 pad to the D0 spot on my xbox v 1.0 MOBO

If you find that the xbox will not power off w/ the button, and turns on automatically when you plug it in you need to break off the tab. If it appears to function normally, then leave it.

ok. thanks. i am getting error 21 when i try to go to the ms dash but everything else is fine. i have done a hard drive rebuild and still the same. i have taken a full c:/ backup from on eof the other 1.0 xboxes i have and still the same.. any suggestions?

If you have a slayers 2.6 disc, try option 4a)10 INSTALL RESTORE MS DASH 185ead00 5960. This will make sure you have all the proper dash files on your box.... maybe a start

believe it or not hard drive was bad. i slapped in a 10 gb i had layin around and it is fixed. i noticed when i was trying to delete even some of the files on c: it was taking 5 times as long. wierd
