Hey, hopefully this is the right board, if not sorry.

Basically, I used to play my XBox a lot, but when I moved to a new house it got damaged and the screen would stay black. The LED on the front flashed (The way I had set it up to, not an error) but there was no audio or video. I was out earlier today and I saw an xbox for sale for 8$ so I picked it up. Now, I want to move my harddrive from my modded xbox to my new one but obviously it's not that simple.

I had someone else mod my xbox for me so I don't really know how to do it, so I was wondering what's the best way to fix this? Is it easier to fix the video output on my first xbox, or move the harddrive to the new one and then do whatever I have to do?
